The following people have all appeared before South and East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court:

  • Darren Lee Pelka, 47, of Belgrave Road, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was given a community order with rehabilitation and fined £50.
  • Frank Roy Marshall, 32, of Henshall Road, Bollington, admitted driving without due care and attention on Tesco roundabout at its junction with Hibel Road and Hurdsfield Road
    and failing to stop. He was fined £75 and banned from driving for 14 days.
  • Liam David Skerritt, 26, of Buckfast Close, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was jailed for 14 days.
  • Scott Jonathan Beard, 40, of Mill Road, Macclesfield, admitted two charges of possession of a class A drug, namely cocaine and heroin. The offence breaches a suspended sentence order made on December 1 last year for theft. He was jailed for 42 days.
  • William Robin Atkins, 31, of Pennine Court, Carisbrook Avenue, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was given a community order with rehabilitation requirement and 60 hours unpaid work. He must also pay £50 compensation.
  • Michael Farnworth, 70, of Hightree Drive, Henbury, admitted drink driving and failing to stop after an accident. He was fined £920 and banned from driving for 18 months.
  • Samuel Leung, 29, of Cross Street, Macclesfield, admitted two charges of assault by beating. He was fined £310 and given a community order with rehabilitation requirement.
  • Ian James McIntyre, 37, of no fixed abode, admitted three charges of theft. He was jailed for 16 weeks.
  • Stephen Peter Dorey, 47, of Pembroke Road, Macclesfield, admitted theft. He was given a community order with 40 hours unpaid work.
  • Kieran Michael Rae, 21, Knights Court, Black Road, Macclesfield, admitted criminal damage and possession of cannabis. He will be sentenced on September 29.
  • Bradley Williams Gorman, 23, of Brocklehurst Avenue, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was fined £150.
  • Christopher Roy Downes, 51, of Norton Street, Macclesfield, admitted shoplifting. The conviction breached a suspended sentence order made on April 23 for theft. He was jailed for 14 weeks.
