A woman left ‘broken’ from witnessing her fiance’s brutal murder attacked a woman after a Facebook row escalated.

Natasha Haukedahl and Chelsea Carroll both had relationships with Kevin Bond, who was gunned down in Manchester in 2010.

Since his death the women, who are both professional beauticians, had exchanged words on the social networking site.

During a chance meeting at the Revolution Bar in Alderley Edge on April 9 last year, the argument exploded into violence.

Haukedahl dragged Ms Carroll to the floor by her hair before punching her in the face, leaving ‘a nasty shiner’.

Haukedahl, from Liverpool, was convicted of assaulting Ms Carroll after a trial in December.

Last week, magistrates ordered the businesswoman to complete a 12 month community order with supervision.

The court heard that before Haukedahl’s relationship with Mr Bond he had been with Ms Carroll and had a child.

Kyra Badman, defending, said: “There was some level of animosity between the two via Facebook. The unpleasantness was from both sides. It was a chance meeting in a bar and she completely lost control.”

The court heard that Haukedahl had been struggling since the death of her fiance who was gunned down as the couple drove to a wedding fair.

Ms Badman said: “Ms Haukedahl witnessed his death and this has had a great affect on her. She suffers panic attacks and flashbacks.

“Despite this she has tried to make something of her beautician business. She also lost her grandmother, who she was the sole carer for.

“It sounds like a sob story but it actually is the sad story of a broken lady.”

Haukedahl was also banned from entering bars and pubs in Wilmslow for 12 months and must also pay Ms Carroll compensation of £125 and £620 court costs.
