An inquest into the death of the fourth victim of the Bosley mill explosion will open on December 3.

Jason Shingler, 38, from North Rode, is believed to have been killed in the tragedy near Macclesfield on July 17.

However, his body or remains have not been recovered despite a detailed search.

Three other victim Dorothy Bailey, 62, William Barks, 51, and Derek Moore, 62, died in blast and fires.

Their inquests have been opened and adjourned.

HM Coroner for Cheshire Nicholas Rheinberg will open Mr Shingler’s inquest on Thursday, December 3 at Macclesfield Town Hall.

Cheshire Police, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are continuing their investigation into the blast, and search efforts are ongoing.
