Each week we publish a set of pictures taken by Macclesfield Express photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.
They appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.
This week our pictures show Macclesfield Town’s new away strip and Hannah Johnson, Kit Johnson and Peter Stewart of East Cheshire Hospice on unicycles for Macclesfield Bikeathon.
There is also a shot of East Cheshire Organic and Gardening Group’s plant swap at St Michael’s Church, Macclesfield. From left are Chris Kay, membership secretary, Liz Smith, Mandy Bain and Peter Woollam, treasurer.
Finally we have Greggs customers Mary and Philip Melkin with Greggs manager John Wright during a free sausage roll giveaway at Greggs Macclesfield.
