This week’s Time-trip has a foodie focus, featuring pictures of a chocolate evening, giant cheese, a burger-eating slimmer and a store selling Polish products.

Each week we publish a set of pictures taken by Macclesfield Express photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.

They can be seen first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.

This week we have shots of Shaun Kelly with his 40lb Cheshire cheese at The Cheshire Cat Stall in Macclesfield Indoor Market, and Macclesfield slimmer Heather Pointer, who claimed to have lost four stone by eating burgers.

There is also a picture of Tesco manager Jonathan Carrington at his store on Exchange Street, Macclesfield, which was selling a new range of Polish products at the time.

Finally, we have a snap of a chocolate-themed evening at Macclesfield College.

The pictures were all taken in the mid-2000s.

If you have any pictures you would like us to feature on this page, send them to us at communities@menmedia.co.uk or via the Facebook page.
