Firefighters from four crews are battling a blaze at a farm in Macclesfield Forest.

The crews were called at around 8.30am to a fire in the roof at Long Clough Farm on Buxton New Road.

Two fire engines from Macclesfield, one from Bollington, one from Wilmslow and a water bowser from Derbyshire attended and are still fighting the blaze.

They are removing roof tiles to tackle the fire from the top and officers with breathing apparatus have gone into the building.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said the crews are having to deal with strong winds.
