A drug dealer has been locked up for three years.

Nicholas Alexander Darling, 29, was caught in Macclesfield with cocaine, cannabis and MDMA on January 24.

At Chester Crown Court, Darling, of Woodford Road, Poynton, admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine, cannabis and MDMA.

Judge Roger Dutton jailed him for three years.

Speaking after the sentence, Inspector Claire Jesson said: “We are pleased with the outcome of this and we hope that the sentence acts as a deterrent to others.

“Drug-related activity is an issue that we take extremely seriously.

“Illegal drugs have no place in Macclesfield and Poynton – this sort of activity has a major impact on the local community and we will do everything we can to put a stop to it.

“Information from the public is vital in the fight against drug-related crime. This type of intelligence is important and helps us to build up a bigger picture of what is happening in an area and the best ways of dealing with it.”
