I see these babies were actually born at St Mary's and then transferred to Macclesfield. Surely this is what the proposed changes the newspaper keeps knocking are all about - ensuring the best care for babies in the right place. Transferring didn't seem to be a problem for this family and I'm sure they were thrilled that the staff at St Mary's cared for them so well. Obviously MDGH couldn't cope with triplets and if I was in her position I'd rather travel to give birth somewhere safer than risk mine and my babies health. I think there is a point being missed here!!
