'Last throw of the dice' to save schools

Chris Morris
24/ 9/2008

PARENTS and children from three town primaries are rallying troops for the final battle to save their schools.

The trio in danger – Ash Grove, St Barnabas and St Edward’s – are subject to public consultation over the next two days – in a "last throw of the dice" for residents.

The picture hardly smacks of a rally does it? It looks like half a class, a couple of teachers and a few mums have turned out. I'd expect numbers of 100+ if they were serious. Infact I'd go as far as to say If I worked for the Council this picture would be the final nail in St Edwards' coffin.
