Booze ban in Tytherington

17/ 9/2008

RESIDENTS are hoping to "live in peace" after areas of Tytherington were placed under an alcohol prohibition order.

Licensing committee members gave a motion the nod at Macclesfield Town Hall yesterday (Tuesday, September 16), meaning signs will be placed at appropriate places within a designated zone from Monday, October 20.

MaccForum saying his is MoganGirl is just another ruse.

Mogangirl is infact MaccForum, and Tomo from Tythy, Martin Webb, Slinky Wizard, Vic Barlow and Boss Hogg.

Not forgetting Hatch (who would beat the all the Eggheads singlehandedly) and our old pal Epsilon.

mogangirl: for the record, MaccForum.co.uk has no connection or affiliation with the Macclesfield Express or its Web site. It is a completely separate entity. It appears that you are prehaps confusing the two?

Diversity of opinion, expressed through civil discourse, is welcomed at MaccForum.co.uk. Feel free to find out for yourself.

Also for the record, I am not the individual who posts here as Tomo.

   Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you regarding the drinking ban that has been put in place in the tytherington area as I feel this is really a waist of time and just putting one law on top of another. The initial problem of drinking on the streets comes as being of under the age of 18 and not being able to get in anywhere and parents not wanting a large group of minors to congregating around there house meaning that the minors decide to accumulate in areas with large amounts of space and therefore get bored and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol leading to anti-social behaviour. Meaning that the original problem is underage drinking which already has laws in place. As I am now a 20 year old student and I understand the problems that take place as I have been in the same situation a number of time previously and know that once a minors turns 18 they will generally no longer want to accumulate on the streets as they are able to go into licensed premises.

I have a number of views on this and feel that treating these children with new laws just gives them another challenge on there nights out to overcome, but they will find a way of overcoming this all the same.

Macc forum, Sorry, as i am not actualy used to being on forums, i realise that i have, posted wrongly, saying things about other posts on here on the wrong posts.I do apologise for my learning difficulties this way on this forum. But people need time to learn otherwise people would not go on forums, as it can be emptionaly difficult when one is being sniped at all the time to get ones common views and point across (In an analytical fashion)By someone with obviously just a computor brain, i do believe that you are in fact thomo from Tythy now. Bit of advice to you. Forums are ordinary peoples points of view. There are ways of communicating with people if you want to run a succesfull local forum. Hard nosed analytical smart arse snipes is certainly not the way, to keep people using your forum, and coming back and joining in.However i am not running away i will just wait till you ban me.People are very different and that is what makes the world go round and some forums succesfull.I do not want to get into personal nastys with anyone on here. But i can stick up for myself verbaly without lowering myself to some peoples levels such as yours.

As I said - we can clearly see from your responses whether you are obsessed or not, mogangirl - you've definitely made your point.

Police shooting are a serious matter, and directly relevant to alcohol prohibition orders in Tytherington.

The shooting of menzies is a very serious and tragic issue. So is this shooting of the barrister who mentaly flipped. Not obsession at all.Its all to do with humanity to mankind .

Thanks for sharing, mogangirl. It certainly answers the question of whether you're obsessed with this subject or not.

PS macc forum. when you still have family living in Macclesfield and you visit quite often, You have not really left completely at all and you still spend money there when you visit. I really i admit only have the best of macc as a visitor now. Not the high rates bills and utility bills or the bad weather yobbos and so on, including i might get seven bullets in my head from the police for being mistaken for someone im not(that would never happen where i live now) And i certainly do live in a better place now all round considering, but i come to Macc basicaly only, when i come back. So think i am entitled to stick my oar in and have my say.

Macc forum Here we go with the psychoanalysis on me again. never mind all in a forum as they say. ANSWER: no im never obsessed about anything at all. just want rights to rights that all and have definate opinions on these things. Contrast with the police where i live. who carry guns in holsters daily.(and who NEVER SEEM TO USE THEM AT ALL) Not even when they catch the drug dealers coming in in the boats with cocain etc here, All are arrested peacefully even though the police know that they are carrying guns. even the ETA terrorists in mainland spain. Do not get shot dead even though they usually are definately carrying bombs that they wish to place somewhere. COMPARE THOSE POLICE WITH THE ENGLISH POLICE SHOOTING DEAD THE INNOCENT WITH AT LEAST 7 BULLETS TO THE HEAD. Then the experience i have with the two different countries police and the way the english police deal things out WELL??? over to you.!!

Are you this obsessive about the police activities in your own home town, mogangirl, or just in the one you left many years ago?
