i wonder how much macc council has lost of the ratepayers money in iceland? Its obvious to me that all councils that have done this . Have been stupid no brains greedy idiots, trying to cash in on the high interest rates in that country offered. But had they looked at iceland as a whole such a poor country they would have seen that iceland could not have afforded anyway to pay the high rates of interest that they were offering in the first place. This is the brain power, of all the fat cats on 100k and more in some councils today just proves they are not worth those sort of wages in the first place. Why did they do it? well i presume so that there would be more money in the council coffers for higher pensions for them off the ratepayers at the end of there jobs.And also to have designer logos and look good as well, and making them feel proud of themselves at frittering such large sums of the ratepayers money away.Not to mention there fat cat salaries.After all they have been so clever at investing the ratepayers money in clever ways so money is no object to them. SO THEY THOUGHT. who do they think they are? They are just a set of two bit gamblers thats all. The money they sent over. (Some police authorities have done this as well). Was what was needed to be spent by These cuoncils on the services paid for by the ratepayers and badly needed by the ratepayers.but has now been squandered away and lost forever by the fat Cats in the councils. ITS ABOUT TIME THESE FAT CATS WERE PUT ON DIETS. AND PRUNED DOWN A BIT ANYWAY.

In this era of the credit crunch to have councils acting like businesses and wasting money on nonsense like this is ridiculous. Its not like the public have a choice, so the rebrand is totally pointless.

   Well what can i say to this. absolute waste of ratepayers money?? Designer logo what for?? Its what i call all fur coat and no knickers, showing off at great expense, never mind the starving of the worlds people.Its just another rip off on the ratepayers.
