SURGERY BUSSINESS UNIT? Well at least they have come out now clean and honest with the public. That the public is just a number to crunch and to make money out off. Instead of trying to fool us all (as they usualy do) that we are sick people who need help, and that we are in a hospital caring environment where they seek to help make us better again. At least we all know where we stand now, CLIENTS OF A BUSINESS THATS ALL.

What, no snarky comment from Peter Hayes? Maybe he's on holiday...

"One reason is that the hospital is not carrying out enough operations – an important source of income."

Does this mean that if no one actually needs an operation, the Trust loses income? How daft is that?
