Family of shot barrister in police legal battle
16/ 7/2008
THE family of the Alderley Edge born barrister shot dead by police in London have launched a landmark legal battle over the way officers are alleged to have collaborated on their account of the killing.
Mark Saunders, 32, was killed by police marksmen on May 6 at the Chelsea flat he shared with his wife.

He did not shoot anybody although he could have done, If he intended to, he already would have done before the police got there, thats only commonsense observation. People panic, dont keep cool heads. The police are the same but some are also trigger happy. My opinion is the whole situation was handled badly by the police, His wife should have been allowed to talk to him. Police nowadays, (not there fault) are just like machines because of the system they are ruled by. The man was probably worked to death and under great stress not coping. It could happen to anybody these days that they feel they need protection from society or that the only way to get help is by drastic action like he did.(Wrong way he went about it i agree.) But i for one will not accept how the police deal with things is the right way. In a bank being robbed by shotgun YES Get them all potted as soon as possible. someone rampaging down the street with gun YES again pot them right out straight away. This guy was in his own home, firing into the air. NOT at anybody at all.Just drawing attention to himself. Some committ suicide instead an introvert, some break out and draw attention to themselves in silly ways like this one did. Anyway i shall wait for the outcome now what happens next.I shall not say any more on this subject.

While you're busy with your layperson recommendations, mogangirl, on how the police marksmen should handle tactical situations, you might also consider the recommendation that members of the public not discharge firearms out of their windows, without the expectation of dire consequences.

Mental illness knows no bounds, wealthy or poor whatever causes it the results are the same, a kick off like this one. I dont like the fact that the police had time to confer and get all there stories together. In a case like this , when the general public wouldnt have, they would have been locked up and kept separate untill all statements were taken all totaly seperate. A death is a death after all, No matter who pulled the trigger or triggers as in this case. It will be very interesting the outcome of this, particularly (as the police in this case did not get a poor person). This guy was a barrister, his chambers and fellow barristers will have a lot to say, and will help the parents on this case. Which is (full might) against the police.Probably the like of they have never had before. I think the whole truth will out on this one at the end of the day. And maybe only (two) marksmen recommended in future one standing by to shoot, the second that the first one misses the target(if they ever do miss).

Mogan i agree with you on that score.
On this case though its fortunate the barristers family have the money to follow this through. If it had been some poor soul off the Jasmine Allen estate in the Bill no more would be heard.

Slinky wizard.
Well first of all (you not gonna believe this)
The potatoes they use come from england, in plastic string bag they are just selected small ones.So you can make them into canarian style in england and enjoy them there.
All most other potatoes they use here are grown in Telde here. They are just like the Jerseys you buy in england only even more tastier
PAPAS ARRUGADAS (wrinkled potatoes)
2kgs medium or small potatoes 5 dessertspoons of cooking salt.powdered (sea salt) if you can get it. 1 large cabbage leaf.
Wash the potatoes well. put them in large saucepan.(do not completely cover with water), Add the salt and place the cabbage leaf on top of the potatoes. Boil until tender, Drain and remove the cabbage leaf. Place the saucepan again over heat, tossing occasionaly until the salt forms a crust on the skins.
Now the MOJO sauce (the red one) (better for you than E gravy)
3 to 4 red hot peppers(chillies). 1 small head of garlic. half a teaspoon of cumin. olive oil, wine vinegar. pepper, and salt.
place the cumin in a mortar, soften the chillies by soaking for a while in hot water, Remove the seeds and veins, Add to the mortar and pound with the cumin. Put the salt and garlic into the mortar and crush with the contents, adding a small glass of olive oil, wine vinegar(to taste) and a little cold water, Blend well.
A not so hot version.
2 or 3 threads of saffron pound with breadcrumbs soaked in olive oil, garlic, cumin, pepper add salt, add more olive oil and wine vinegar to taste, and half a teaspoon of pepper, blending thoroughly.
Here of course they use fresh cumin localy grown. and saffron localy grown.basicaly everything fresh if they can.
The vinegar you have in england they have never heard of here they always use vinegar made from wine. Never any of your non brewed condiment. (nbc) that the chip shops use diluted with water. That is made from crude oil.Toxic.
Hope you enjoy your Papas arrugados, and red Mojo sauce. Slinkywizard. Lady Mogan?? Well for all anybody knows i could be? I was born in Bromley kent and brought up in styal cheshire, and was once married to alderley edge man. But then spent 18 years of my life in Macclesfield, Of which was my sons whole school life, His roots if you like and his education there and doing an OND at macc college before he moved on. I did love Macclesfield, before the conglomerates took over. I still visit and still enjoy it there. But NEVER would i come back to england. I am lucky i found (my Paradise)

The reason i like the people here so much. Is that they try to have BIG victories here. They get off there backsides all together support each other, and really fight.Like last year. The whole town of Aldea san Nicolas. The whole town (it was left a ghost town that day) all went to Las Palmas over an issue with the politicians. The traffic all came to a standstill. Las Palmas was in a mess nothing moved all day. Only the marchers protesting. THEY WON.All peacefully no arrests, the police in Las Palmas were all on there side.
They got the money what they needed spent on there town.
Next time you eat a tomato from the canaries (Think of these people) they will have picked it for you. That is all there is there for work and other fruit picking, and it is one hour, driving from there for any work anywhere else all on scary mountain winding roads, (which they now have road barriers on).
Its my secret place here to go to. And will one day be the next resort here (hopefully not in my lifetime.) I hope to retire there in a couple of years,
The town centre is only as big as Leek in staffordshire. It comes alive at night though after the two hour siesta, All the tapas restraunts are open. what a community fantastic people and life.People who come here for one or two week holidays never get to see the real life here or experience it.Wouldnt be worried about being in an isolated place here in old age, The doctor and nurse are still there 24/7 in the medical centre. And the terrain no problem they have helicopter pad down on the beach, For the air ambulance if needed.

I dont have time to read as many books (as you obviously do,) Mescalineville. (insanity,)?? too much sun?? Quite the opposite. i live to live dont try to hide away in books. (Escapism) I suppose i would if it was raining all the time, or i was bored with nothing much else to do and frightened of the bills piling up, In dreary rip off england. That would be certain insanity. No get your head out of your books (unless you are educating yourself) my days of that are over (academicaly wise that is)

Bedford falls?
Read my posts again i say we hardly have any rain here.
My wages here. satisfied customer thinks that i am unintelligent because thats all i earn 900 euros per month.
I am so intelligent. (THAT IS WHY i earn so little dabbling about in a menial job Good for the soul and peace of mind.).Dont need any more than that amount the flash cars or the 1000 pounds handbags. Healthy relaxing lifestyle and people matter far more than big wages designer clothes etc.
Unintelligent people throw there money away on those things they are the mugs of the world advertising companys goods for them and paying the company themselves to do so HA HA HA
I do wish you would not eat all those E numbers in that instant gravy on your chips. Its not good for you.
