Dumb and dumber as village’s bungling burglar strikes again

THE TALE of a hungry burglar didn’t end well for the Poynton man who broke into a house and made himself a SANDWICH before fleeing with stolen cash.

Macclesfield magistrates heard how Mark Ridgeway – already branded one of the town’s dumbest criminals after a bungled crime last year – used a crowbar to break into his own mother’s house, on Middlewood Road, Poynton.
