Cinema move could finally bring the curtain down on sorry saga

IT’S FOR reel: after nine years in the cultural desert a cinema operator has announced it’s bringing Hollywood to Macclesfield.

Cineworld is to take 30,000 square feet of the £200m town centre redevelopment and build an eight-screen theatre next to the anchor of the scheme, Debenhams, on Park Green.
