New row over town centre plan
Chris Hudson19/ 9/2007
MORE homes and shops may be bulldozed to clear the way for the £200million facelift of Macclesfield town centre.
Concerned residents have contacted their local councillor fearing a change in the plans after rumours that businesses and homes not originally planned for demolition have been approached over compulsory purchase orders.

These are real people's homes and lives that they are messing with.
A compulsary purchase order should be for the market value of the house, not a pittance.
Councillor's wake up for God's sake.
