Twiggy looks better now she's not so twiggy

IS IT me or does Twiggy look better now than she did when she was err…Twiggy?

She wasn’t bad when she weighed the same as our cat, but she did look more mate than girlfriend. Come to think of it, my mate’s hair was longer than hers.

I don’t think you’d say she was feminine back then would you? She could have played the Artful Dodger in Oliver no sweat, and what about panto? Twiggy would have been great as Buttons. For all her fame, I never heard any of my pals say they fancied Twiggy. She was more like the boy next door than the girl next door; more Mick than Marianne.

So what happened? How did that androgynous clotheshorse turn into such a foxy lady? Where has she been for the past 40 years? Wherever it is, I’d like to go there. She looks absolutely gorgeous. It hasn’t happened to Cilla has it? She’s gone from anyone who had a heart to someone who has a tash (too many blind dates).

So, if Twiggy wants to make up for lost time she knows where she can find me.
