Epsilon, if you read through properly you will see i comment first on numerous stories. Have a look, the story about the giant squid being a prime example.

I am not here to wind anyone up, but seriously some of the comments made on here are the written equivalent of low hanging fruit, easy pickings, fish in a barrel etc, its impossible not to respond........

Just as boardmonitor, from Canada said about The Satisfied Customer “Here to help? I thought you were just here to annoy and wind up people! “ How true they are known as “Trolls and Flamers” and exist just to try and ruin any comments section or forums. What they don’t like is to be ignor4ed, so just ignore him. You might notice that he says nothing until someone else as commented.

I was referring to some of the "hero worship" written on here about the likes of Barlow et al. And saying they are hardly like "proper" heroes, like Denis Law for example.

Suprised i needed to explain such a basic point but hey, i am here to help.

Yes, I have worked under Peter Heyes and can vouch for his honesty. A very straight forward man who actually cared a great deal for health services in Macclesfield.

Some people like S.C. know very little. What has Law, Best and Charlton got to do with this?

What a stupid post. Peter Hayes is a defender of the hospital being fully available to the people of Macclesfield.

You talk about Peter Hayes like he is some sort of superman.

Get a grip mate. I seriously think the main health issues in Macclesfield relate to the number of Sycophants who give homage to Messrs Barlow, Winterton and Hayes every week.

They are hardly like Best, Law and Charlton are they?

I would prefer to belive Peter Hayes who has more credability than the present executives, blindly following dictates. Just don't staert crying when the A & E and the hospital turn into a Cottage Hospital.

As I understand it the PCT has to provide a drop in or walk in service. This is a national requirement. Drop in or walk in services have proved effective in other places and supplement or complement the GP services. The Express actually published an article about this which reported on a Q&A session that they had with Mike Pyrah. If Vic had read this before he considered writing this article then he might have been a bit clearer.
