This week bankers repairing fences, Macclesfield Library exhibitors and a gathering at a nursing home feature in our Time-trip column.

Each week we will publish a set of pictures taken by our photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.

The pictures appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.

This week our pictures show Macclesfield Library exhibitors - from left, Chris Bagley, Pat Kelsell Jule Hamer and Pat Higginbottom, and Barclays Bank staff repairing and painting fences at East Cheshire Hospice.

They also show organisers Margaret Long and Judith Barton (centre) with resident Mary Bell and visitors Peter Beard and Valerie Beard at Prestbury Beaumont Home, Collar House Drive, and Focus DIY Lyme Green - from left, Steve Cwiklinski, of Macclesfield Community Saftey, with Annie Pearson from Focus, Alex Keen of the Princes Trust, Paul Hudson from Focus, Natalie Hall and Michelle Hart, both from the Princes Trust.

The photographs were all taken in the early 2000s.

If you have any pictures you would like us to feature in the column, please send them into us at communities@menmedia.co.uk or via the Macclesfield Express Facebook page.
