Recent cases from South and East Cheshire magistrates court:

  • Mathew Coterill, 23, of Buckfast Close, Macclesfield, admitted being drunk and disorderly, and failing to surrender to bail. He was given a conditional discharge.
  • Sean David Andrew Anthony Roberts, 39, of Nelson Street, Macclesfield, admitted breaching an ASBO by using abusive or insulting words in public, criminal damage and breaching a conditional discharge. He was jailed for 56 days.
  • John Charlies Caslin, 33, of Adlington Road, Wilmslow, admitted drug driving and possession of cannabis. He was fined £970 and banned for 12 months.
  • Janthea Maddocks, 45, of Chester Road, Macclesfield, admitted drink driving. She was given 200 hours unpaid work and banned from driving for 24 months.
  • Craig Shaw, 53, of Nicholson Avenue, Macclesfield, admitted four charges of assault by beating. He was bailed to court on April 19 for sentence.
  • Bradley William Gorman, 24, of Brocklehurst Avenue, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was bailed to court on April 19 for sentence.
  • Ian Russel Thorley, 40, of Hulley Road, Macclesfield, admitted theft, criminal damage and production of cannabis. He was given a conditional discharge.
  • Anthony McCracken, 25, Rushton Drive, Stockport, was found guilty in his absence of fishing without a licence in Turner’s Pool in Wincle. He was fined £220.
  • David Richard Stanley, 25, of Rushton Drive, Stockport, admitted fishing without a licence in Turner’s Pool in Wincle. He was fined £100.
  • Diane Michelle Smith, 39, of Park Lane, Macclesfield, was found guilty after trial of drink driving. She was fined £180 and banned for 22 months.
