Hi,
When a was taught to drive we drove within our limits for the road and conditions. If it wasn't for the idiots who think they can drive, we would not have speed camras. Just a tought.

Gordon, they are very vague, they mix in with the crowd or hide in side streets, it's unfair that were being made victims, why can't they just stand out like a sore thumb?

Strange, this site states Crawshawbooth Near Post Office - yet the speed trap (although in a yellow van) was almost hidden in parked traffic near the Air Training Corp hut. I wasn't blasting down the road but thanks anyway to the thoughtful Lorry driver who alerted me to the fact that I was about to enter an accident blackspot.......mmmmm.

OBserver, I agree entirely with you there, I mean the popo haven't done any proper policing in years, us drivers are made scapegoats just to get the crime figures up and meke them look like they are doing a hard days graft..put your coffee and doughnuts down and get out there and DO SOME REAL WORK FOR A CHANGE! Clean the streets of drunken alcoholics namely down newbold, and outside the cemetary gates at the top of drake street. Put drug dealers and pimps in cells where they belong not hand out NIP's willy nilly!

Why dont the police concentrate on catching Murderers, Drug Dealers, Rapists and Burglers?
Easier to sat on their backsides in the back of a van all day rather then do some proper policing.
No wonder no one has respect for the police anymore

Well said B.Chumley. We dont all speed but it is useful to know where these cameras are. Dont hear me complaining when the likes of yous driving instructors have to block the roads when yous are instructing people. ( A little Tip) keep them on side streets until they can actually set off from the lights without stalling, Or only teach in rush hour that way im sure the speed is well within your pace. Happy Driving all :-)

@ driving instructor, be quiet, It's law to know where the mobile camera sites will be for the week.

What a dumb idea. The police are trying to catch people in the hope of stopping them killing themselves or others. Why help potential killers?

Its nice to see this information is now available as it has been in several countries that I know of for some time now. I just hope the information given on the cameras' sites is correct and its not just scare-mongering...Thanks anyway for making this info available to the general public..its about time!!
